bitbird invites you to create, collaborate, and submit original music on Audius for a chance to be featured on the next official bitbird compilation, create together vol. 5!
FAQ
- How do I join create together? Just start chatting in the bitbird or Audius discord, create your music, and upload it to Audius! We encourage you to collaborate with others in the community, but just make sure you submit your files properly on Audius by following the upload instructions below.
- What are the entry requirements?
- No explicit content, hate speech, or material that infringes on the rights of others. You are only allowed to use cleared samples or royalty-free elements. This means you should only use samples or elements that are permitted for commercial use in your tracks or artwork. Splice samples, for example, are allowed.
- While AI can be used as a tool, the contest prioritizes originality and creativity. Entries that are predominantly AI-generated with minimal human creative input will be disqualified.
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to these guidelines.
- Can I collab with others? Yes! It's encouraged. Feel free to find someone to work with in #ctv5-collab on the bitbird discord.
- What kind of music am I allowed to make? You have complete creative freedom. There are no genre restrictions here! Just focus on making it as polished as possible.
- How many tracks can I submit? One track submission per artist/group. For example, you are allowed to submit a solo project, but you can also be part of a collab with 3 of your friends.
- Can I submit a project that I already finished before February? No. The idea is that you start fresh at the beginning of February and develop your project throughout the month alongside others creatives. If we discover you submitted an already finished track, we can disqualify your entry. You can of course use a rough draft/WIP and build on that idea.
- When is the submission deadline? You can submit your music throughout the month. The submission window ends on March 3rd, 2025 (end of day in your time zone).
- How do I submit my track/artwork? We’ll share more info on the assets needed to enter the competition when we’ll open the submissions. Check out the #ctv5-music for future information on track submissions, and the #ctv5-visual channel for future information on artwork submissions.
- When is the compilation coming out? 'create together vol. 5' is scheduled for release in May 2025, more info soon!
How To Enter:
- Create a free Audius account and sign in.
- On Audius, select "Upload Track" from the sidebar.
- While filling out the details for your upload, open the "remix settings" menu.
- To ensure your entry is considered, enable the "identify as a remix" option. When prompted, provide the link to the 'create together' track on bitbird's Audius profile. Tracks that are not linked to the original will not be considered.
- Promote your track on socials! Don't forget to tag @bitbird and @audius.
